City of Glendale Goes Tech
Pastilla was selected by the City of Glendale as the agency to market the 2019 Glendale Tech Week. Our digital and print campaign will run now through September 21st. Glendale boasts a thriving tech ecosystem that is home to over 1000 high tech firms that generate over $5 billion dollars in sales each year and employ over 41,000 people.
Pastilla led a comprehensive marketing strategy that included digital ads, paid social, organic social, press releases and OOH.
We then launched Glendale Tech Week’s first-ever event app with a full event calendar, check-ins and push notifications.
C H A L L E N G E
Glendale Tech Week is a week of events held in Glendale California that needs annual promotion to increase attendance. Simultaneously, they came to us to build an event app for iPhone and Android.
S O L U T I O N
Wanting to build from previous brand equity, we took the creative that had been done by another agency in 2018, and refreshed it with a new look and new copy. We also focused the ad budget on digital marketing to gain better data about our audience, and to track conversions.
R E S U L T S
Under the same budget as the previous year, with our help, Glendale Tech Week saw over 2x as many people in attendance.
