Kaitlin Hook Named Growth and Partnerships Lead at Pastilla
Pastilla is excited to announce that Kaitlin Hook has stepped into the title of Growth and Partnerships Lead. This change reflects her dedication over the past year to driving growth, deepening relationships, and expanding Pastilla’s presence in the social impact space.
Kaitlin is often the first person that many of our partners meet, and that is by design. She brings a rare mix of strategic clarity, relationship-building, and an understanding of what it takes to deliver work that is both meaningful and excellent. She leads with trust, listens closely, and has a real gift for connecting people to the right ideas and resources.
This title is also something we want to say out loud: we’re proud of Kaitlin. Proud of how she shows up, of how she represents Pastilla, and of the momentum she’s built through thoughtful business development and community-first networking.
A trusted leader, nearly six years in
This announcement also marks an important milestone. Kaitlin is nearing her sixth year at Pastilla this spring, spending the majority of her time overseeing complex programs and stewarding key client relationships with care and rigor.
Her passion for social impact is not new, though. Before joining Pastilla, her background included years on the client side in fundraising, nonprofit marketing, and government service as an AmeriCorps Fellow. So this new chapter marks a full-circle moment: returning to the sector with a sharper toolkit and a clear focus on connecting organizations with creative resources that help them build trust, deepen engagement, and drive outcomes.
Some of Kaitlin’s most recent work includes overseeing major initiatives such as:
- Black Girls Code rebrand: guiding a high-stakes identity evolution for one of the most recognized organizations in the STEM equity space
- Visit Pasadena tourism recovery campaign: supporting community recovery and economic revitalization following regional fires
- City of Los Angeles emergency preparedness campaign: centered on reaching residents who are offline or at risk and ensuring access to critical resources
Each of these efforts reflects Kaitlin’s ability to lead complex projects while keeping people and mission at the center.
What’s Next: A shift into growth, partnerships, and long-term impact.
As Growth and Partnerships Lead, Kaitlin will continue to work alongside Pastilla Founder and Chief Creative Officer Rudy Manning to strengthen our relationships, partnerships, and positioning in the social impact space.
This includes:
- Building strategic partnerships with aligned organizations and collaborators
- Strengthening Pastilla’s presence at conferences, convenings, and events
- Expanding relationships across public agencies, nonprofits, and community-rooted institutions
- Helping organizations find the right creative strategy to meet the moment, while keeping people at the center
If you see her at an upcoming conference or event, say hello. You will leave with a new connection, a thoughtful conversation, and probably a few big ideas.
