Overview

Clean Power Alliance (CPA) is one of the largest green energy providers in the country, yet many customers were unaware they were enrolled or eligible for its cost-saving programs. Pastilla was brought in to build awareness through a campaign that elevated CPA’s visual identity and messaging, ensuring customers understood the value and impact of clean, local energy.

CHALLENGE & OBJECTIVE


Despite serving 36 cities and the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, CPA’s brand recognition remained low. Many customers didn’t realize CPA was their provider, leading to missed opportunities. The campaign aimed to boost awareness, educate users, and lay the groundwork for future outreach.

VISUAL IDENTITY EVOLUTION


We refreshed key brand elements to feel more vibrant and community-focused. The lightning bolt hidden in the logo’s “A” became a bold line-art element, used to frame visuals and build a recognizable, energetic brand language across campaign materials.

PHOTOGRAPHY DIRECTION


We prioritized photography that reflected real people, real communities, and real stories. Emphasizing warmth and authenticity, imagery featured families, neighborhoods, and local settings to highlight CPA’s mission and put people—not products—at the center of the clean energy movement.

“Change is electric. Together, we power potential.” A message that champions community, collective action, and a sustainable tomorrow.

Our campaign message celebrated electrification as a collective journey. Clear, empowering headlines positioned CPA as a partner in progress, inviting customers to take part in building a cleaner, brighter future through accessible, cost-saving energy options.

We didn’t reinvent CPA’s brand—we evolved it. The campaign was designed to scale, creating a flexible, unified system that could support future programs, deepen engagement, and build familiarity through repetition, trust, and consistency.
