Introducing Our New Hire, David!

David brings over six years of UX and UI design experience and a degree in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University. He’s passionate about turning complex digital challenges into intuitive, user-centered solutions that align with brand strategy and real user needs. At Pastilla, he leads UX strategy across all phases of the design process, from discovery and wireframing to prototyping, testing, and implementation.

Since joining the team in October 2024, David has been a key player in shaping thoughtful, research-driven experiences for clients like Clean Power Alliance, Santa Clara Valley Water, LA Metro, LA Parks, and the Bureau of Contract Administration. His work reflects a deep commitment to clarity, consistency, and impact, helping mission-driven organizations improve how they communicate with and serve their audiences online.

When he’s not designing seamless user experiences, David is known for having very strong opinions about cookies (never without milk!), unbeatable guacamole, and that one time he got bitten by a monkey. Yes, really.
