2020 was a tough year for everybody as people were told to stay home due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This presented new challenges for businesses–and digital agencies–as they navigated new waters to figure out how to advertise and meet the needs of customers purely on digital platforms during a crisis.

“Tough” doesn’t even begin to describe it, but when the pressure was put on, Pastilla excelled, grew our business at rates we never thought possible and delivered immense value to our clients during this time.

Pastilla had many great achievements. We won four awards last year–two silver Telly awards for our “I’m Here” music video and promotional campaign Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools, as well as two Davey Awards for a new branding experience for 8BioMed, a new healthcare tech company.

Our biggest achievement for 2020 was a complete overhaul of the Golden Globes website–a new branding experience that would entice and resonate with their global audience. Using a data-driven approach, we designed a website that prioritized the user while painting the Golden Globes with a philanthropic theme. It was a roaring success!

2020 may have been a challenge for us, but one we overcame with flying colors. We doubled our earnings year over year, and even hired 28 new employees and contractors, all based in the United States.
