Nestled in the heart of Southern California and with a legacy dating back to 1881, the City of Redlands has made a significant decision to redefine its brand identity.
This vibrant community, spanning 36 square miles and home to around 73,000 residents, is gearing up for a brand transformation that mirrors its core values and future aspirations.
Led by a dedicated and visionary City management team, Redlands is ready to embark on a remarkable journey of self-discovery, and Pastilla is honored to be a part of this exciting venture.
The cornerstone of this rebranding effort is a comprehensive Community Engagement phase with residents and key audiences, where key research findings will help us build a clear picture of “what has been,” “what can be,” and, most importantly, “what is required” to bridge all groups for this branding initiative. This is similar to our in-depth listening approach to rebrand the City of Corona from a foundation built on resident participation.
Pastilla will be entrusted with the task of finalizing and recommending the logo, colors, wordmark, fonts, and insignias that will encapsulate the essence of Redlands’ refreshed identity. These elements will find their place not only on official documents but will also extend to email signatures and other materials, ensuring a consistent and compelling visual identity.
This partnership holds significant meaning for our Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Rudy Manning, who shares,
